Calluna is a medical / technology oriented brand that focuses on improving the lives of those that suffer from epilispy. The goal is the give freedom back to those that suffer and ease their fear of experiencing a seizure and not being able to call for medical help.Calluna focuses on wearables that help detect a seizure and notify others if the wearer is experiencing one.

Calluna was designed to help people that either suffer or know someone that suffers from epilepsy. I wanted to design an app and brand that would give people back their peace of mind. I focused on colors inspired by the epilepsy foundation while also keeping the overall mood calm.
Calluna focuses on the patient first. The technology is just there to maximize aid when the user needs assistance. The purple and pink hues represent the Epilepsy foundation. Colors are also not too jarring to maintain a more pleasing and calming tone to the overall brand. Calluna is a fun play on the Latin for the lavender plant. Lavender is the international color for epilepsy. The logomark also mimics this by not only representing a hospital cross but by being a blooming flower.
